Metal

Metals are prized for their incredible tensile strength, structural support, and sleek aesthetic, heavily used in Industrial, Modern, and Contemporary designs.

  • Steel: The most common metal in furniture. Stainless steel resists rust and offers a sleek look, while carbon steel is incredibly strong but usually requires powder-coating or painting.

  • Aluminum: Lightweight, rust-proof, and easy to mold. It is heavily used in outdoor furniture and modern, movable pieces.

  • Iron: Used for its weight and classic look. Wrought iron is heated and bent into ornate shapes (common in outdoor and traditional furniture), while cast iron is poured into molds.

  • Brass & Copper: Typically used as high-end accents, hardware, or decorative legs, adding warmth and a touch of luxury.
